Caterham 7 twincam, this car is basically a Lotus 7 Series 3, it even has a dynamo so even though its registered as 1980 could possibly be an earlier car. The motor is approx. 1660 cc it has a brand new block, rods, crank and powermax pistons. It is dry sump lubrication, with the oil tank in front of the passenger foot well. It has a brand new Lucas Opas competition distributor and amplifier, this ive had new for many years. The braking system has two separate brake master cylinders with adjustable brake balance and is a very rare fitment, front suspension has a 5/8” anti-roll bar, bottom suspension arms are the negative camber ones. Adjustable shocks are fitted all round for damping and ride height. Wheels are replica minilite type with Dunlop CR65 (I built the car with hill climbing in mind, it looks good on them too). The top arm are new also. Back axle has an LSD fitted set with low torque slip also for hill climbing in mind. The back panel and drivers side wing were damaged when I bought the car but all this has been repaired very professionally. There are a few dents here and there which I could have removed but it looks like an old race car and money cannot buy that ! The car goes very well and the road holding is exceptional.
